Install Converly on Wix

Add the Converly code to a Wix site so it can track form fills and bookings.

Wix is a popular website building tool that makes it easy for anyone to create a marketing website for their business. Wix lets you add custom code that loads on every page, which is all Converly needs to track the forms and bookings on your site. To install Converly on your Wix website, follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Copy your install code

The first step is to grab your Converly install code. In Converly, click Install in the left sidebar and copy the code shown at the top. It is unique to your site, so make sure you copy the exact code shown there rather than reusing code from anywhere else. See Install Converly for the full walkthrough.

Step 2: Go to the Custom Code section of your Wix settings

The next step is to find where Wix lets you add custom code. From the dashboard of your Wix account, select Settings in the left-hand menu, then select Custom Code under the Advanced section.

Step 3: Add a new custom code snippet

Once you are in the Custom Code section, simply click the Add Custom Code button in the top right.

Step 4: Paste your Converly code

In the dialog box that appears, paste the code from your Converly account into the box labelled Paste the code snippet here. Give it a name you will recognise later, such as Converly, set Add Code to Pages to All pages, and under Place Code in select Head.

Paste your Converly code, apply it to all pages, and place it in the Head.

Placing the code in the Head means it loads before the rest of the page, so Converly is ready to capture a conversion the moment a visitor submits a form.

Step 5: Set the code type to Essential

Next, switch to the Code Type tab in the same dialog and make sure Essential is selected.

On the Code Type tab, choose Essential.

Setting it as Essential means the Converly code loads on every page for every visitor, so it can track every form fill and booking. If you do not set it as Essential, the code only loads for some visitors and you would end up missing conversions. Once both tabs are set, click Apply.

Step 6: Check the code is enabled

Once you have added the code, you are taken back to the Custom Code section. Make sure the code is switched on by checking the toggle next to your Converly entry is enabled.

Test it works

That's it! Converly is now installed on your Wix site. To check it is working, open a new incognito window, go to your website, and submit a test entry through one of your forms. Then open the Activity page in Converly. If the code is installed correctly, the test conversion shows up there within a moment.

Paste your own code

Any code shown in a screenshot is only an example. Always paste the exact code from your own Install page, which contains the key that is unique to your site. Code copied from anywhere else will not track to your account.
