Before Converly can track anything, its code needs to be on your website. It is a single small script tag that goes in the <head> of every page. You only add it once, and it works for every conversion flow you build.

Step 1: Copy your tracking code

In Converly, click Settings in the left sidebar, then open the Install tab.

The first thing on the tab is your website address. Converly only accepts conversions from this address, so check it matches your live website. If it doesn't, click Edit and fix it. If no address is there yet, type it in and click Add website, and your tracking code appears straight away.

Your tracking code is in step 2. It is unique to your site, so copy the exact code shown there. Simply click the Copy Code button next to it.

Step 2: Add it to the head of every page

Paste the code into the <head> section of your website, on every page. Most website builders have one place to add head code that applies to the whole site, so you usually only paste it once.

Under the code, the Install tab shows icons for popular platforms. Click one to open the step by step guide for that platform.

Using the Converly app for Webflow? The Install tab shows Installed by the Webflow app instead of the code, because the app adds it for you. All you need to do is publish your Webflow site.

If one of your flows uses a tool that needs its own code (Acuity Scheduling, for example), the Install tab shows an extra step with that code and tells you where to paste it.

If your platform is not listed, the same rule applies. Paste the code in the <head> of every page. Most website builders call this setting something like "custom code" or "header code".

If your website shows visitors a cookie banner, there's one more quick step once Converly is installed. You set your cookie banner to hold Converly back until a visitor accepts marketing cookies, so Converly only tracks the visitors who say yes. Use your own code

Always copy the code from the Install tab in your own Converly settings. It contains a key that is unique to your site. Code copied from anywhere else will not track to your account.
