Zoho Forms lets you embed forms on your website to capture leads. This guide turns accepted submissions from those forms into conversions you can send to your ad platforms.

There is no account to connect. To set it up, follow the instructions below:

Before you start: You need a paid Zoho Forms plan that includes PostMessage Tracking. Embed your form on a live website page and follow Install Converly to add Converly to that page.

In each Zoho form, open Tracking, Post Message Tracking, then Configure. Set a form alias using letters and digits only, such as ConverlyContact, and tick Submit Form. Save your settings. Without PostMessage Tracking configured for that form, no submissions count.

We recommend ticking Form View too, particularly if your form offers Add another response. Without it, the first submission counts, but later responses from the same open form are missed. Form views themselves never count as conversions.

To include contact details, turn on Website Data Push for Submit Form and map Name, Email and Phone to the matching fields in your form. Only map contact details, not private answers or payment details. Submissions still count with Website Data Push off, but without those contact details for matching.

Duplicating a Zoho form does not carry over PostMessage Tracking. Configure it again on each copy. You do not need to install Zoho's separate Google Tag Manager tracking code for Converly.

This integration supports iframe, JavaScript, referrer-tracking iframe and lightbox embeds. Website-builder embeds are covered when they use one of these options. HTML & CSS embeds and links to Zoho-hosted forms are not supported.

Supported regions are the United States (forms.zohopublic.com), Australia (forms.zohopublic.com.au), Europe (forms.zohopublic.eu), India (forms.zohopublic.in), Saudi Arabia (forms.zohopublic.sa) and Canada (forms.zohopublic.ca). Other regions, including Japan, China and the UK, and custom Zoho form domains are not supported. If your embedded form's address starts differently, contact us.

Leave Prefill values in website URL off. Converly gets contact details from PostMessage Tracking. Prefilling personal details into a redirect address puts them in the browser's address bar and can expose them in server logs and analytics. Converly does not remove them from that address.

Step 1: Create a flow

A flow is the rule that turns a form submission into a conversion. Click Flows in the left sidebar, then Create New Flow, and give it a name like "Contact form leads".

You land in the flow builder. It is empty for now. Click Add Trigger to choose what starts this flow.

Step 2: Choose Zoho Forms

A panel slides in from the right listing every lead capture tool Converly supports, grouped by type.

Click Zoho Forms. If you do not see it straight away, scroll the panel or use the search box at the top.

Step 3: Choose where it fires

Converly listens for accepted Zoho submissions on your site. Use the page setting to select where the form appears.

Read this before you choose

Without a specific page, every supported Zoho form with PostMessage Tracking configured on your site can count as the same conversion. To count just your contact form, choose its page.

Option 1: Trigger on all pages

A conversion fires whenever someone submits a supported Zoho form on any page of your site. Choose this if all those submissions should count together.

The page selection screen with All Pages selected
All Pages includes supported Zoho embeds across your site.

Option 2: Trigger on specific pages

To count a form on https://www.yoursite.com/contact-us, select Specific Pages and enter /contact-us. The path is just the part after your domain. Start it with a slash, and do not include the domain.

Use the website page containing the form, including for lightboxes. Do not enter the Zoho form address or the thank-you page.

Click Add another page if you want to include more than one page, or the x to remove one.

If 2 Zoho forms share one page

Page filtering includes both forms, so both count as this conversion. To count only one, put it on its own page, or contact support before publishing.

The Specific Pages option selected with example page paths entered
Specific Pages uses the website page containing the Zoho form.

When you have picked an option, click Set trigger.

What happens next

A trigger on its own does not send anything yet. Next you add one or more destinations (Google Ads, Meta, and so on) and publish the flow. See Building a flow for that part.

Converly counts when Zoho reports a successful submission. A thank-you page or redirect page never counts by itself. Opening or refreshing that page does not create another conversion.

That's it! The final step is to test your setup in a new incognito window. Submit the embedded form on your live website with a real email address. If you offer Add another response, test a second response too. Then click Logs in Converly's left sidebar and check the destination results for each test. You can read more about how to properly test your setup here.

If submissions are not showing up later, check your paid plan, saved PostMessage Tracking settings, supported embed address and Converly installation on the form page. Check any page or permalink filters, advertising consent, and that the flow is Active rather than Draft. If submissions count but contact details are missing, check Website Data Push and its field mappings.
