Sending conversions to Reddit tells it which ad clicks turned into real leads. Reddit uses that to optimise delivery and to report accurately, even when the browser pixel is blocked, because Converly sends server-side through the Reddit Conversions API.
A destination is added inside a flow as an action, so you connect Reddit while building (or editing) a flow.
Before you start: you need a flow that already has a trigger set up (see Building a flow), and access to your Reddit Ads account.
Step 1: Add an action
Open the flow with your trigger. Below the trigger card there is a + button. Click it to add an action.

Step 2: Choose Reddit Ads
A panel slides in from the right listing every destination Converly can send to. Click Reddit Ads.

Step 3: Connect Reddit
The first time you use Reddit you need to connect it. Click Connect with Reddit.
A Reddit window opens. Sign in with the account that has access to your Reddit Ads, and approve the request. The window closes and you come back to Converly, where you pick which Reddit Ads account Converly should send conversions to. This is a one time step. After this, Reddit stays connected for every flow.

Step 4: Choose your conversion
Pick which Reddit event to record from the Conversion dropdown. The options are Lead, Sign up, Purchase, View content, Search, and Add to cart. Most people sending form conversions want Lead.
Set a value and currency if each lead is worth a fixed amount, or leave the value blank.

Step 5: Send a test
Reddit shows test conversions arriving live, but only while the right page is open. So set that up first.
- In the Reddit Ads Manager, open Events Manager and go to the Event Testing page. Leave it open.
- Copy the Test ID shown on that page and paste it into the Test ID box in Converly.
- Click Send test event.
Watch the Event Testing page in Reddit. The event usually appears within a minute. Once you have seen it, click Add action and publish the flow.
Use the Test ID, or you send a real conversion
The Test ID is what tells Reddit this is only a test. If you click Send test event without one, Converly sends a real conversion to your Reddit account, and it can show up in your campaign reporting. So paste the Test ID first. And remember Reddit only shows tests while the Event Testing page is open, so keep it open when you send.

What happens next
Once the flow is published, real conversions flow to Reddit automatically. You can also watch them arrive in Converly on the Activity page right away.
If conversions are not showing in Reddit later, check that the account you connected is the one your ads use, that the flow is Active rather than Draft in Converly, and that the connection still shows as connected under Settings.
